Sometimes after reviewing the questionnaire, we are able to quickly determine that we probably cannot help the person for technical reasons (e.g., due to the size of the employer. If the employer has too few employees, the applicable laws, like Title VII or the FMLA, etc., may not apply to the employer). In those cases, we do not schedule a consultation with the person unless the person wishes to pay for one despite knowing that we suspect we will be unable to help them. Though we cannot guarantee that we will agree to represent everyone with whom we schedule a consultation, we try to avoid scheduling consultations in situations where we are likely unable to help the person. |
